Some of the biggest advantages of getting your gazebo in kit form is knowing that each piece is measured and cut without you having to worry about all that. This doesn’t mean that building a gazebo in kit form is not a little challenging, because is can be and being prepared and knowing what you need before you get started will make the entire process that much easier to complete.

Before you get started, read through your kit instruction a couple of times. Take note of all the tools you are going to need and make sure that you have them available. You’ll want to know that you have the time to complete your project and that the weather is going to work accordingly. Nothing worse than starting your build only to be rained out and then having to deal with water damage and replacing pieces that you can no longer use.

Finally when you have it all together, you’ll want to make sure that you have any help that you may need. Although building a gazebo on your own is not impossible, it will make it a lot easier if you have an additional set of hands. Also make sure that you have all the stains, paint of varnish that you want before you get started and make sure that you are happy with the results from a tester strip.

You are now ready to get going – this summer is going to be a lot more fun with your own garden gazebo to enjoy.
